We’re excited to announce the launch of our newly created Theatre Life website, making it easy to find and browse local and national news articles of interest to Clerkenwell residents. You can now browse all our articles, and browse our shop for our Clerkenwell merch easily and securely.

Here's what's new on our website

  1. Improved searching, that lets you preview our articles as soon as you start typing.
  2. Better navigation, so you can find news categories you’re looking for quickly, and easily.
  3. News categories featured on the homepage, so you see what you’re looking for quickly.
  4. Improved checkout — with the ability to use PayPal allowing users to make purchases via Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards or via funds transfer from their PayPal account.
  5. A Policies page — with Terms Of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns Policy, Disclaimer, Website Security, Payment Methods, Delivery Policy, Order Tracking and much more.
  6. Frequently asked questions page — An array of your common questions answered.
  7. SSL certificate — We’ve improved the security of out new site throughout. We’ve included an SSL certificate, which means all data transmitted between your browser and our site is encrypted with the lastest SHA256 Bit SSL certificates. See our Website Security page for more details.

Robert Cope

Robert Cope is the founder and editor of Theatre Life and a theatre critic based in Clerkenwell, London. He reviews productions across London and beyond, from fringe theatre and new writing to West End and regional theatre, with particular attention to performance, writing and staging.

Born in Essex, Robert has family roots in Uganda and England and lived in Kenya for five years during his childhood. He is active in local community and heritage causes in Clerkenwell and previously organised networking events for solo business owners from across London, with meetings held in Clerkenwell and at the Civil Service Club in the West End. He also collects for Prostate Cancer UK at football matches and enjoys backgammon, squash and walking in the British countryside.
